Tony coached Woy Woy Roosters to premiership wins in 1999 through 2001 and won the NSW Country Club Championships in 2001. Tony is the assistant coach with the Manly Sea Eagles Toyota Cup team in the NRL’s National Youth Competition.
I have over 25 years experience as an Accountant and Tax Agent and specialise in the area of adult education and training in Australia and Asia.
I hold a Bachelor of Adult Education & postgraduate Accounting and Management qualifications and I am a Fellow of the Taxation Institute of Australia, the National Institute of Accountants and The National Taxation and Accountants Association.
My aim for the DONNICA CLARKE foundation is to offer financial and moral support to young emerging athletes, male and female, across all sports from the Central Coast region.
I hold a Bachelor of Education Degree (PE) and have taught for a number of years before entering the sports sector where I have extensive sports administration experience.I have been employed [1993-2003] with the Professional Golfers Association as National Education Director 1993 - 1998 and from 1998 - 2003 as the Associations Chief Operations Officer, a position second to the CEO. I am a former Australian and National League representative in Basketball and state representative in Rugby Union. I have been able to combine my sporting skills and intricate knowledge of sport into the field of sports administration. My involvement in sport spans well over twenty five years as a player, coach and administrator.
I founded the Central Coast Academy of Sport which is now regarded as a leading sports agency in NSW and bring this expertise to the DONNICA CLARKE foundation.
I am honoured to be involved with the DONNICA CLARKE foundation and excited by the opportunities that lie ahead.
I had the pleasure to meet Donnica through my involvement in surf lifesaving on the Central Coast, firstly in the same age group as my son and later in representative teams that I have managed.
It is through those same teams that I met Kerrie and Anthony and being involved with the Foundation is the least I can do for them and their children, Nathan and Bianca to preserve the memory of Donnica and assist similar emerging young athletes from the Coast.
I am a loyal and proud "Coastie" and an avid supporter of the Mariners.
The Foundation combines my love of sport and community involvement and encompasses the passion and driving force of a core group of individuals with a common goal of supporting talented athletes with ambition and drive just like Donnica displayed in her short but memorable life.
My business is a unique Event styling company. We pride ourselves on our customer service and our attention to detail on every event we service big or small. Our motto is: “You never get a second chance at a first impression".
Blueberry Events service 23 offices spanning the East Coast of NSW, QLD and the Hunter Valley. I over see all that goes out of Blueberry and have creative input and quality control on every event that leaves our offices which is imperative to the continued growth and reputation of Blueberry Events.
My ambition is to see an Olympic medal presented to a DONNICA CLARKE foundation athlete.
I feel privileged to be a part of any team that has: Hunger, Passion, Belief and Drive. But there is one word sums up the DONNICA CLARKE foundation and that is DEPTH!
Everyone on the board creates strength and with strong foundations we can grow. The foundation has been created on a rock solid foundation that separates us from others.
Most of all I feel honoured to be surrounded by the spirit and legacy in which Donnica’s smiling face has given us, her determination, pure heart and soul will be the driving force behind us all for many years to come.
The DONNICA Clarke foundation will help young athletes to build their dreams, but importantly it will provide young Central Coast athletes with the key to being successful: OPPORTUNITY.
I became involved in the Foundation after speaking to Tony Clarke on 2GO’s Locker Room program and realised that the DONNICA CLARKE foundation had the philosophies and vision that I fully supported.
To create opportunities for young athletes on the Central Coast to aspire to be the best they possibly can.
Obviously Donnica was a talented young athlete who achieved some outstanding results at State and National level and through the Foundation we have the chance to provide other talented young athletes with financial assistance to pursue their sporting goals.
I would like to think the DONNICA CLARKE foundation will compliment the current programs and organisations that provide similar support to young athletes and for recipients of the Donnica Clarke scholarship programs to develop their sporting talents and hopefully achieve great heights in their chosen sport.
